Hazrat Maulana Mufti Muhammad Amjad Sahab Db, Khalifa of Aarif Billah Hazrat Maulana Shah Hakeem Muhammad Akhtar Sahab Db, visits Khanqah Imdadiya Ashrafiya, Karachi, almost every year from South Africa. His Bayanat are filled with the love of Allah SWT and are attended by huge gatherings of Ulama and the masses.
We have been in the process of collecting all his bayanat delivered at Khanqah and organize them on Nooresunnat.com in a user friendly manner. Alhamdulillah, with the help of some very generous brothers, we have been able to gather a good collection Hazrat Mufti Amjad Sahab’s bayanat. However, we are still in the process of collecting them so new bayanat will be added in future as well insha Allah.
Below is a yearly categorization of Hazrat’s bayanat delivered during his visits to Khanqah Imdadiya Ashrafiya. These are immensely beneficial talks that can change the course people’s lives. May Allah SWT help us benefit from them.
Note: You may not find bayanat for every year yet, but they will be added soon insha Allah.
The Difference between Giving Up Sin and Being Made to Give Up Sin
Your corpse will not be able to cast lustful glances but that will not warrant one any reward from Allah Ta’ala, for the sacrifice of a corpse is not acceptable in His court. Allah Ta’ala wants us to become His, to sacrifice our desires, whims and fancies while hale and hearty, while still alive and able to commit those sins. Why are you waiting forthat time when death will reap your soul and you will be unable todisobey Allah? This will be termed, ‘being made to give up sins’ andnot ‘giving up sins’. Voluntarily giving up sins while the choice to commit them still exists within one will entail a lofty stage offriendship with Allah Ta’ala. Bear the burden of leaving sins. If onedesires to enjoy the pleasure of Allah’s pleasure, bear the burden andexperience that pleasure wherein the burden itself will no longer remain a burden.
Recently, a sticker was published from Khanqah Imdadia Ashrafia by the call of Hazratwala (Shaikh ul Arab Wal Ajam, Arif Billah Hazrat Maulana Shah Hakeem Muhammad Akhtar Saheb damat barkartuhum), about the importance of beard in shariah and clarifying a common misunderstanding with regards to the law pertaining to the beard. It states:
COMMAND OF BEARD
To keep beard equal to one fist in length is not just Sunnah, but it is Wajib(Mandatory).
To shave beard or trim it less than one fist length is HARAM (strictly prohibited).
(Behisti Zewar, Chapter 11, Page 115)
Beard should be of one’s own fist length from all three sides (right, left and below the chin)
